When a loved one passes away, our attorneys assist clients in filing of the decedent's last will for probate or, if no will exists, filing of the application for administration, giving due consideration to post death planning. Our attorneys assist the client through the probate process by explaining the required steps in order to transfer the assets to the heirs. We will appear with the client at the court hearing in order to have the named executor appointed as the estate's representative. Afterwards, we will assist the representative with preparing and filing the inventory and transferring of assets to the beneficiaries . If required by the IRS, our Board Certified Tax Law attorney, Brently Free, will also assist the client in the timely preparation and filing of the estate tax return.
